Someone was talking about how Vermont is shit compared to New Hampshire politically because Vermont is becoming further and further left. Also they mentioned immigration in Vermont is way more present than in New Hampshire. Is there any truth to that? Is NH better than VT?

Most of Vermont is pretty much like New Hampshire.
But then there's Chittenden County, which is full of communist hippie flatlanders, and the Banana Belt (Bennington and Windham Counties) which is really part of Massachusetts and is full of liberal Democrats.
The only reason we are run by leftists is that the legislature is gerrymandered in favor of the left, and the state GOP leadership is fucking incompetent.
