We did the same thing here, and it worked out well. Philipinos fall into the 'good immigrant' category usually. They're hard workers, they raise their kids as Canadians, pay taxes, and aren't xenophobic.

Because Philippine nursing curriculum is mostly conducted in English. All the terms etc etc are American-based.

It's not the same as Europes/US immigration, where immigration is from drastically different West Asian and African cultures.
Most immigration to Japan will be from Korean, China, and SE Asia, who all look similar to Japanese people anyways, with maybe a small trickle of White weeaboo's who love Japanese cultures.
