Do you worry about dying?

What do you think happens when you die?
>>
>>55323478

Nothing, my brain can't comprehend how it feels to not exist at all
>>

You become a nigger.
>>

What happened before you were born? Literally death is the phase before you wake up, born.
>>
>>55323478
how did you feel before you were born?

>Do you worry about dying?
I have faith that technojesus will save my fleshy form from the cruel grip of nature before then.

>What do you think happens when you die?
Our minds feel the cold embrace of oblivion and non-existence ends all that we were; dust to dust, ashes to ashes, billions of years of non-existence to billions of years of non-existence, punctuated only by a brief stint on this wonderful and horrible world; a mere taste of existence before having it so cruelly torn away.
>>
>>55323604
Before you were alive, you weren't even dead. You just didn't exist. For billions of years. How can you not comprehend that?
>>
>>55323478
You lose consciousness, just like when you fall asleep, you become unaware of anything, you become nothing, and even if there is an afterlife, it's not at all as it's imagined..

Are you able to comprehend what it was like when you are naught? Tell me, when you go into surgery, are you even aware of the time that passes from when it begins to when it ends? Now imagine that over the span of eternity.

Something interesting about this statement, anon; It implies that the human mind is not a contiguous entity, but is rather a collection of snapshots, states of matter, almost like a video camera.

You die hundreds of billions of times a second, every time a single atom in your brain changes, and you are reborn every time. The man you were a year ago is dead, the man you were a week ago is dead, the man you were a minute ago is dead. The only important thing is that the transition between frames is smooth, and not abrupt.

Did you know that proximately every year, every atom has been expunged from your body and replaced by a totally new and unique one.

Even still, do not take this as an argument for nihilism. If we are to have but a mere fraction of eternity to experience this world, let us make the most of it. Hopefully our actions shall influence those who come after us, and their actions will influence those who come after them, and our nameless legacy shall echo to the heat death of the universe.

Dubs of greatness.

Become a poet, if such a thing still exists.

Nothing.

What a wonderful day it will be
>>

Perhaps, but I still wish to write my own story, before recording those of others. After all, what matters if a thing is "right" or "wrong"? All good stories require conflict, and a boring existence would be a disservice to existence itself.
>>
>>55323478
No point worrying about it if you don't have any choice. I'd rather focus on enjoying life and maing sure I won't regret living it. As someone in 20s it looks like something still far away so I'm not worried.

If someone finds out what there is after death, if anything - call me.
If no one finds out, I "will" when the time comes.

>gets taken to hell or get reborn in and never ending cycle

It's on of these two because the ride never ends.
>>
>>55327423
Then you should either give all your shekels to the cultists working to manifest technojesus in our world, or you should accept the inevitability of death. Keep in mind, however, that the acceptance of death is not welcoming it, nor facilitating it.
It is a sign of strength to cry out against fate, rather than to bow one's head and succumb.

either there is a god (not necessarily the christian god) to which i will make amends (or maybe become spooky ghost) or there is nothing and everything ends

either outcome is fine

>Do you worry about dying?
When the time comes I'll embrace it.

>What do you think happens when you die?

Dying is like going into a deep sleep friend. Science proves the dead have no conscience therefore ghosts n shit are nonsense. the rest is where religion steps in.
>>
The closest thing to death you'll ever 'experience' is going under anaesthesia.

No concious thought, no awareness of your surrounds and no sense of time.
