Why are we so obsessed with each others issues instead of our own?

A German might make a thread about Trump, instead of the refugee crisis. An American might make a thread about the refugee crisis and not Trump. An South American might talk of Russia instead of Bunda or whatever.

Why is this?

Because on the general level the US election is more interesting for the direction we're all gonna go.
The refugee crisis will sort itself out when the huge block of people and politicians that put themselves above simple mathematics gets hit with increasingly larger doses of reality. And the tide has turned MASSIVELY just the last few weeks by looking at the media here. Just a shame they can't listen to the people with foresight so they'll save everyone some of the trouble. Oh well...
Local issues are better dealt with at the local level, not at a globally renowned Vietnamese quilting enthusiasts forum anyways.

But Trump is not a problem, if you were implying that

US presidential elections are completely fucking irrelevant, even for the US. There was no meaningful difference between Clinton's, Bush's and Obama's policies.
>>
>>55318131
The stances on global issues of candidates in this election are very polarized at this point in time. If you think "Sanders or Paul or Trump, doesn't matter, will be the same outcome" you're a flat out moron. There is a very important spiritual component to all this, not just related to foreign policy. That is just one piece of the equation.

Because half the people on here are expats. Which is a sobering thought given trolling. Every poo in loo thread could be five guys from Denver calling each other bongs and curries

They are all linked to the common problem of the liberal left.

If Trump gets elected, he will become the target of hate for every single liberal left degenerate in the world. I can attest to that in deepest Africa.

The result will be that normal society will no longer be subjected to 'muh privilege and such. So you won't see people bitching that halloween costumes offend them, because president Trump is the most offensive thing in their eyes.

Trump isn't just the saviour of the US, he is the saviour of western society as we know it.
