If some players go on strike, people can rightfully ask for refunds or at least reduced ticket prices, it makes recruits consider other programs with more stability. Students might consider other schools because they want to watch good football (legitimate thing, look up Doug Flutie effect) and other students would not apply if an evil racist didn't step down.

What he should have done was put up an online vote for mizzou students. 1 vote per student (has to come from a mizzou account), totally anonymous, with the following questions yes/no:
