it all depends on if you want to do multiplication or division first depending on that you can get one of two answers. the problem itself is wrong, there should be another set of brackets somewhere in the problem in order to solve for one definite answer i.e. 20/[5(2*2)] or (20/5)(2*2)

=20*(5^-1)*(2*2) (check every undergrad algebra book)

then you can do whatever you want. You have two ways of doing it with the same result.

Considering

20/5*(2*2)
=20/(5*(2*2))

is arbitrary and retarded and makes you and your kids dumb and doomed.

Proceeding from left to right as I said earlier is another way of taking operations in an ordered way without making up rules.

You can proceed from right to left as well.
