I live in a major city and can assure you that it's impossible to be a car owner

>when you first move to the city, your car looks great. two months go by and your car looks like dog shit because while you might know how to parallel park, no one else in the city does, nor do they care. and they will ram into your front and back bumpers and not give a shit.
>no place to park your car unless you're lucky to own a place with a garage, or want to pay exorbitant parking fees to have a parking pass to park on the street, and even then you end up having to park 10-15 blocks away and then you're only allowed to have your car parked there between 11pm and 7am or else you'll continue to get tickets until it'll get towed.
>driving from home to work takes a solid 40 minutes because of monstrous, all day, standstill traffic (i can get to work on foot in 15 minutes)
