Will China become a superpower by 2050?
>>
>>55275634
Will the UK become a super power by 2100, or just get flooded by jockeys?
>>
>>55275634
Unlikely. Foreign companies are abandoning them due to their dont-give-a-fuck attitude to IP and copyright, their domestic economy is a complete joke.
>>
>>55275781
The UK will never be a superpower again and probably won't exist by 2050
>>
>>55275928
Never say die m8.
>>
>>55275634

That's what the conservative propaganda commercials on my TV told me.

Napoleon Bonaparte once said of China, “Let her sleep, for when she wakes, she will shake the world.”
>>
>>55276151
Napolean then tried to invade Russia and died a literal joke
>>
2050? They will be the major player by 2030, mate.
Also India.
Also Russia.
Also Brazil.

BRICS.
>>
>>55276234
China maybe, Russia maybe, India I'll believe when I see it, Brazil LOL NO.
>>
Do you know the difference between the USA and China?

When America goes to war against Vietnam, it trashes a good chunk of the land and surrounding nations.
When China goes to war against Vietnam, China wins.

And they have some unfinished business in their neighbourhood. Yes, there will be conflict and expansion.
>>
>>55276638
By your definition, Germany was the undisputed victor of both World Wars.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sino-Vietnamese_War

China didn't win that war.
>>
>>55275634
No. They simply don't have the financial and legal institutions to maintain the growth necessary to challenge the us. The only way they can get them is to democratize. But that will annihilate their birthrate and suck them into the American hegemony. It's lose lose for China

I think they're going to finally poison themselves by then.
>>
>yfw you learn not only will China's economy have overtaken the US by 2030 but will be DOUBLE the size of America's by 2050
>>
China can't even get plumbing to 600 million of its people.
>>
>Implying the marxist government wont fall or at the very least a massive civil war will occur and the one child policy will negate China's one and only power, its massive population

Not before India brah.

Have you even heard about their space program?
>>
>>55276879

Meh, they accomplished what they intended to accomplish. Showed the Vietnamese that they were more than capable to invade, and Vietnam didn't meddle with China's interests in Cambodia afterwards. Russia didn't intervene on Vietnam's behalf either. Sounds like it worked out as planned...
>>
>>55277043
This, except one child policy is sort of kinda done for
>>
China will collapse into WW3 by 2050. So many womenless men, that they'll need an external distraction. Probably take place in siberia. Triggered by an incident of trafficking Russian women into china. EU, Russia, America nuke china into oblivion focused on the food producing regions. White people get another century on top.
>>

Didn't you see what the U.S did to Iraq they literally fucked everything in Iraq. And no I don't mean that in a good way.

your high school poli sci teacher is calling m8

That change will help them 20, 30 years from now. They still have a massive demographic trough to deal with in the next five to fifteen years.
>>
>>55278054
Can't they maintain growth by simply importing people from rural areas to the cities?
>>
>>55279793
The ones in rural areas aren't sitting on their arse. They will then need people to do whatever it is the rural ones were doing.
>>
>>55280033
Growing food for the massive population they have

>What is the Shanghai Cooperation Organization

BRICS is still a thing faggot. Its backed up by the SCO. We will see the Yaun be the world trading currency after the third world war which is probably not even a year away.
>>
>>55275928
It never was a superpower. Pooing in loo is not a superpower
>>
Isn't China already an economic superpower?
>>
>>55277673
You're the bottom of the food chain in eastern Asia.
>>
It already is a superpower, or at least the most powerful country other than America since WWII.
>>
>>55275634

China won't exist by 2050.

>>55280363

BRICS is already faltering. India is moving west, China is fucked, and Brazil is about to go further right than a room full of Ron Paul gold mine magnates.

>>55280510

They have a lot of exports; that's it.
>>
All it takes is the right or wrong direction, 35 years out in a global economy is tough to read.

China has a lot of raw labor behind it, which is good, but it has a citizenry which is starting to adjust to a higher standard of living and an economy based around the status quo. If they barrel on ahead like they have previously things could get ugly fast, but if they can readjust then things could go very well.
>>
>>55276234
>BRIC meme

Brazil and Russia are in recession. Even in their 'good' years they didn't come close to the growth rates of China.
>>
>>55275634
By 2050 China will have run out of water for 20 years.

europe and america will be destroyed by then so the bar for "superpower" will be set much lower
>>
