It didn't. I agree with fat acceptance. I accept that fat people will all die before age 35, which will ease their life-long burden on the healthcare system. If anything, I encourage morbidly obese women to continue eating as much as humanly possible and to continue pretending its normal. The faster they die, the quicker the world benefits.

The FA movement went wrong in the same way every other acceptance movement has gone awry.
-First the feminists came in and began to take over the movement, claiming being fat shamed was female exclusive and the fault of males.
-The movement has since then began to shift from helping to bolster plus size women's confidence in themselves and their looks to attempting to force society to include the overweight into the dating pool, certain areas of the workforce, entertainment, and so on.
-The feminist in the movement started pushing for a sort of weird, pornographic support of the movement themselves. Look up #bbw on tumblr and you'll find numerous sites of 20 something women posting mostly nude, softcore to hardcore pics of themselves. And just about everyone of these girls are alt-sexuals, feminist, and liberal to the hilt.
-A growing number of fat fetishists (mostly male) have been attempting to push women who look like OP's pic as the norm in being overweight and beautiful. These men have pretty much insinuated themselves into the movement in the shadows by showering the FA women with lots of praise, white knighting, and funding. In all truth these men just want as much porn and sexual access to these women as possible.

Fat men are just a peg below regular men in terms of society, so they compensate by being funny, something they can use their weight for and that they dont have to change for.
Fat women are automatically regarded as far worse women, and since nobody really cares if a woman is funny, she just ends up resenting the others.
From the beginning. Forcing acceptance is stupid; be happy people can tolerate you rather than pretend to like you. Such things are built on lies and that's no good.
