Worlds at War is a political simulation browser game, where you control a planet and set policies, manage its economy and military, trade with and wage war against other players.
There are multiple federations that are from various boards on 4chan, such as an /a/ federation and a /k/ federation and other boards, other theme forums and of course the scum, like reddit grillgamer degenerates.
In the last iteration of the game the Fourth Reich was a massive alliance and dominated the scene, causing much butthurt.
The game has recently been reset, and we have created the The Eternal Reich, aka the Space Nazis' return, to represent eternal /pol/.
We need your help to make us even strong, to make us rule over the others and claim glory for our Vaterboard.

Chosing sector:
Amytas: Good for peaceful casual, gains more shekels from GDP.
Bion: No-life mode, good for players who want to spend lots of time building ships for the fed. Discount from ship costs.
Cleon: Good all-rounder, massive resource gains. BEST TRADING RESOURCES. This is very important, because trading will be a huge shekel bonus and it doesn't hinder your raiding/puts you in danger like having a massive GDP.
Draco: Hard mode, good for low GDP raiders and Spy Ops. Weak bonuses, but since less people tend to chose this sector, you're safer. Also discount on research cost and spies start with bonus training.
However this is just a vague guide of what works best, your playstyle is generally the most important factor on your role in the game rather then your sector. Any Sector can easily be a raider world for example.
Government type: Fleet Admiralty is the best for starting off since you get events that'll help your military
Economy type: Planned economy is objectively the best system, Mixed can be fine if you don't plan on micromanaging and raiding much. Free economies are geared towards GDP-growth, but DON'T CHOOSE THIS. It's really underpowered, you can actually more easily buy growth if you need to and eligibility for attacking another world is based on the GDP, so it'll expose you to more powerful players or you won't be able to farm weakers. Planned systems give you upfront cash and you can't trade with the opposite alignment. Mixed is the Fezzan option, best for trading.
Once you create your world and go to news you'll get 4 options military option is objectively the best.

Build ships, break ships... so the one who has the most powerful fleet is the one who wins the wars. I assume this game has varying ships sizes, like Fighters, Corvettes, Frigates, Cruisers, etc that scale up with strength?

Also about strategy: generally speaking it's a good rule of thumb that if you want a solid economic base, it's better to go for trading than having a huge gdp, at least in the beginning.
Gdp can be raided from you, while your trade production is safe, also ranking is based on gdp, not fleet/military power or the trade income. So bigger gdp puts you in a bind.
When you're trading, you're going for collecting different resources and usually reciprocating the trades coming from other people with your own resource.
First you have to build resource production in your economic policy tab, then you can trade it away on the page of another world.
You can find other worlds under the Galaxy tab. You'll probably get a notification that you didn't receive the trade resource. Just ignore that, it's sort of a broken mechanic that'll be hopefully taken out or replaced by the admin.

Yeah, simply the bigger, better trained fleet wins. And you have to be careful about the warpfuel supply, that's where the freighters come in.
Also the fleet consists different tiers of ships and you receive a huge bonus for a balanced fleet that has 2n lower tier ship for every n higher tier.
So for 1 destroyer, 2 light cruisers, 4 corvettes and 8 fighters. Lower tier ships are cheaper, but with the bonus, this "pyramid" structure is the most efficient.
Also guys, there is a Wiki you can find under the Community tab. And it's worth going through the Game guide you can find on the top of the page.

Everyone in Eternal Reich should be trading with everyone for maximum profit. Here's how trading works. There are 12 trade resources, you need to trade with as many people as possible, the more you trade with the more money you get. However you don't get any money for trades over 2 rows above you current completed row. So lets say you have 1 completed row (meaning you have 1 of every resource) like in pic related, you only get money for up to 3 rows. anything above is useless. You need to have enough of your own trade resource for your row and to give to other people. You can see all this trade shit in the trade centre tab under policies and above intel agency. Part 1

To send someone your trade your just click send at the bottom of their world page. Message them to send their resource back because otherwise they probably won't find out you've send them your trade resource straight away. You buy more of your trade resource to trade with other people at the top of your economy page which you can find in the policies tab.
Having a shitload of trades with other players is strongly advised as once you have one it's free money for the rest of the game.

Trade Center. It shows your outgoing resources and the ones you receive. If the incoming item in the matrix is yellow, you're not reciprocating the trade resource he's sending to you, if in the outgoing list there's a yellow item, you're sending a resource and don't receive anything in return.

Start with a mixed economy so you can trade with everyone. Put all your shekels into your trade resource and your QOL until it's "utopia."
Trade your resource with everyone in our fed https://wawgame.eu/federation/5/ to maximize GDP/shekel growth. If one of the + signs on your trade center is yellow, you need to trade with that person.
The idea is to prepare to build up your fleet because that's all that's going to fucking matter as soon as war protection is off.
