I don't see how or why you'd be banned from facebook though, the only remotely controversial thing I've done on facebook is join a Peter Hitchens tribute group.

You know, I really don't get it. Is there a reason you can't just keep a simple clean profile with your actual RL friends only, have the willpower to only check it like once a week, and basically only use it as a glorified phonebook/event organizer?

Ranted about how I wasn't cool with being sexually maimed as an infant and about how I think no human deserves to be sexually maimed. I Then Deleted my account a couple days later, mostly because I wanted as little to do with people as possible.
Never really used facebook. I made a couple of fake accounts in the past to keep tabs on some people, but I haven't logged in a couple of years. I don't personally understand why would someone put all their personal information online for all to see.
