Why don't you want to start building society, free from marxsim?

Our plan at that moment:
0. We start as corporation.
[?]. Establish the free fleet of Wyatt Mann.
1. Buy the old sea platform\oil rig\or something like that. [Why in water? Because no one owns the ocean. We can be a new nation absolutely legally].
2. Starting from the "deep bottom": we should organize recycling of waste from rich countries [they actually pay for that]. We need kind of plant, where we can collect resources from garbage: electronic and electric equipment, glass, metal, plastic. Look what barbars in Africa do with free resources:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXDrIvShZKU
Also, we should start sea farming and gardening.
On that step we also must establish power generation. Let's start from wind turbines.
3. Next level - ship\auto\avia graveyard. Recycling\repair - and we will get a transport for us. [We can't use cars in sea, but they're still nice source of engines and parts].
Look what barbars in Africa do with free resources:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTv2Zmtp5Eg
4. Artiical island creation, platform(s) expansion.
5. Creating a place for technological startups.and proclamation of the State.

About defence: I think, that we should create huge amount of cheap UAVs\USVs as our first line defence forces.

About transportation: revitalized planes, helicopters, vessels. Creation of submarines is quiestionable.

Your opinion?

I think a beehive structure would be better. Since it can be expanded over time.

A beehive cell would be big enough to house a few families.

If the housing and community were nice enough, people would be paying you to be a part of the project.

>>55246353
They're on my other computer unfortunately. If this actually gets any traction, I will find them next time I have access to it.

The main idea was that this richfag would buy a castle - we were looking at some in France - and we would populate it, then begin diplomatic negotiations to declare independence. The main ideas for generating cash were growing expensive fruits and vegetables (strawberries and stuff) and selling them, stock market investments, and Bitcoin mining (back when that was viable). There were quite a few of us interested in the project. We had people with hydroponics knowledge, a security team, computer nerds, as well as lots of people who just wanted to live there. I still think it might have worked if that faggot hadn't abandoned the project.
>>
>>55246372
I wonder what the plausibility of making a society like that would be.

To start, a compact house could be 300 tons maybe? Lets say you have 2-6 housing units on a single cell, is that even possible to stay buoyant?

Not many girls want to live on an oil rig, and we'll all end up fighting over the very few that got dragged along. It also would suck for all of us. I like trees and dirt under my feet, not only nature but modern luxuries to an extent. It's much easier to just start a ranch out in one of the middle of nowhere here in one of the free states. Just live your life away from the bullshit as much as you can and go into town when you feel like it. Something like that could be co-opted.

I also had the idea to get a cargo ship, and when you remove the crates there's a rectangular crater on the deck. Fill that with soil and have an onboard farm/garden. Cargo ships can be massive, it'd be its own floating city and ecosystem. But that's expensive as hell and hard to maintain, we have to keep our ideas realistic. A parcel of land costs and upwards of $3,000, structures are pretty cheap to build and livestock aren't that much either and most end up paying for themselves. We can also get jobs locally if its not enough to fully sustain, or if we want modern luxuries like phones and vidya, and of course guns. Lots of fucking guns.

This type of thing scares me. I wouldn't want to live on a platform because when storms come its going to kek our shit up. At least with a ship you can avoid storms and travel the world. We can visit our shitposting brothers in Austria one day, sail into Indonesia and buy some machine guns then sail by Ethiopia and try to tempt pirates to try to board and shoot them, then sail into Mongolia and ride horses and listen to dank throat singing. On a platform your stuck in one place and its going to get boring quick.
>>
>>55246849
Recognition should be what you're trying to avoid. You'd be seen as terrorists by many if you're sailing around claiming sovereignty and trying to acquire such a devastating offensive weapon. You're risking getting blown out of the water when keeping to yourselves guarantees your safety.

If you're going to seriously look at building a new country, Antarctica is the way to go. For $10 million, you could build a foundation. After that, you could use a combination of tourism, donation, and immigration to get what you needed to pull to critical mass, and you'd be outside jurisdiction of any country.

Yes, it would be cold, but the technologies exist to make a self-contained environment habitable, and frankly, all you really need to make the logistics work is one of those Hercules planes you can get for maybe $1.5 million. Beyond that, you build into the ice.

The winds are fast as hell down there, so you purchase turbines for power. Water is a given. The turbines provide heat. And you melt into the ice in a modular fashion to expand.

Aquaculture can cover most of the food. Don't build near the existing bases, and very quietly survey the areas around.

The UN won't do anything, and the big nations would watch with interested curiosity. Get one as a protector.

Seasteading is cool, but I could not imagine it work against storms and big waves.
The ocean is a really deadly place.

If this gets only mildly successful it is also an easy target for every major power.
High numbers, guns and cheap explosives can only defend you on land.
In the ocean you need way more serious weapons to defend yourself against submarines or under water bombs or just blockades with sea mines and ships, if you can actually defend yourself at all.

This is /pol/ we are talking about man, the reason we care about this is because we are poor as fuck, richfags are already set they don't give a shit.

>>
>>55254275
Yeah, that was the plan. It wasn't going to be an actual micronation, just set up like one.
>>
>>55253972
Most people on /pol/ are collectivists.
Collectivists fight each other, but are working together against individualism and individual freedom.
Richfags already pay a disproportionately amount of taxes.
If this does not keep them safe from the state and rising socialism aka jellyfags then they will try to do something different.
>>
>>55254660
>Most people on /pol/ are collectivists.
how can you tell? most people don't even post
>>
>>55245259
International law only allows nations to form on natural islands and the like.
>>
>>55254660
Richfags like being rich, the only reason they would start a micronation is to make profit and scape those who want to take their money.
And like I said we are poor a fuck, whatever reason anonymous internet users would want to start a micronation, be sure that reason is not money, because there are way easier and simple ways for doing that wihout the need of creating a micronation.
It's the idea of liberty and being free of all the shit around modern societies what's appealing, and that imcludes money, markets, banks, etc.
Like it or not we are full blown hippies.
>>
>>55255039
The main reason is being free from the degenerate influences and the likes of modern society. There is no reason to be against money, what people dislike is the current Keynesian nightmare where central bankers have more power than Governments.

It's the same shit, when you considerate how large societies work, from countries all the way up to global, huge amounts of people need to be controlled somehow, otherwise it's complete anarchy. Bankers and goverments are past beyond money, they exist for power and control.

Let's assume for some work of fate this kicks on, a micronation is formed, how long do you think it will take for trouble among its residents to appear creating the need for some kind of control? sure it would be easy as long as there are few people to deal with eachother, but there's always going to be that small fractions that just won't be content, will want more, and will end up turning everything into the same shit you were trying to scape in the first place.
>>
>>55255241
>>55255494
>Moving to memecountry
Has anyone accepted them as legitimate yet? Also, you would need three guys with guns to take over their whole country. That isn't what /pol/ is looking for, because a country that can't defend itself will still be forced to play by the rules of the NWO in the end.
The same is true for a Oil rig in the ocean, but it is easier defendable than some shitty swamp in the balkans
>>
>>55255601
Simple solution: Arm everyone and have no armed troops except for a militia formed by your population, like the swiss model. That is more than enough to keep everyone under controll in such a small nation.

Clean it up and carry on.

Dunno, Sven.
It's a shithole, actually.
Like an all Russia, tbhq.
Why exactly the Jewish Autonomous Oblast?
>>
>>55246342

No, they aren't. They are within UK territorial waters. They can claim be soveriegn as much as I can claim my house is soveriegn, and with as much effect.
>>
>>55261343
>Why exactly the Jewish Autonomous Oblast?

Well, the Jews are not really using it any longer and having /pol/ colonize Stalin's version of Israel would be incredibly funny.
>>
>>55246342
No they aren't, they're only sovereign in so much as the UK doesn't give a shit.

http://www.privateislandsonline.com/islands/ahe-atoll-motu
http://www.privateislandsonline.com/islands/manuhangi-atoll

I think these would be good candidates for what we want to do. All are in the middle of the ocean, not near any major islands like Fiji or Vanuatu, and have a good amount of space. The hilly one would be hard to build on but has a lot of space and is more secure; the atolls have less space but would be easier to build on, and you could build into the lagoon.

I even think it's good that they're part of French Polynesia, island nations like the one I mentioned would be more desperate to keep their real estate, that's why these guy's attempt got annexed by Tonga:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_Foundation

However maybe the French could be persuaded to give us independence once we've already settled there. We'd still have to set up a credible defense to deter pirates, but that's a much smaller threat. On the other hand the legal route might not work then we'd be fucked, whereas we might be able to hold off the militaries of those smaller nations if we plan for it.
>>
What is the name of our country?
>>
>>55261950
is france a protectorate of french polynesia? cause if it is wed be ass fucked by france if we told french polynesia to fuck off.
>>
>>55262752

That's the thing, if France says no, we're fucked; but I think it's more likely France would say yes because of squatters rights or something. The choice is between that or try to take an island from Fiji or something, where they almost definitely would not say yes but we'd have a chance of fighting them off.
>>
>>55263424
if we we're to fight an island nation the best choice would probably be nauru it has a population of 9k and no army.

Buying a shitty oil rig or building any kind of superstructure is stupid.

Just assemble a flotilla of ships and stay mobile. Go where the resources are and move when you need to. Bring in more ships when you need to sustain a larger population. Once you get big enough you can start repurposing larger ships to serve designated functions, like turning tankers into fuel depots, cargo ships into vertical farms or manufacturing plants, cruise ships into population centers, etc.
>>
>>55264241
Just make sure to paint things in bright colors. Also hard work and tasty food will help.
>>
>>55249979
No, we need to start in Namibia.

We could conquer the entire nation with a hundred thousand good men.

I say we'd need to be self-sufficient and rely only on ourselves. We get an internet connection, and watch the rest of the world to innovate with them so when the world does find us, we aren't years behind.
>>
>>55264621
Think Quarians but without the fucking freeloading space gypsy shit.

Trawlers and fishing ships could provide food to sustain the flotilla.
Large ships could be modified to serve functions that would further increase sustainability as well as offer possible trade goods.
New ships could be welcomed into the flotilla to increase the size and strength of the fleet.

Good book on the subject.

Actually we should use the existing stations in our favour. Not build in a island where there's stations but somewhere close to them, aside from 2 (one of Argentina and other from Chile) there aren't other "towns" so if we permanently reside there we would have that in case someone tries to kick us out; also the probability we could reseive help from scientists or ships in case something happens grows a lot. There are abandoned stations that perhaps we could exploit.

The climate there would be fucking harsh so novody would give a fuck about trying to conquer our nation (in fact just considering stablishing in Antarctica is retarded). Maybe we could grow something inside greenhouses, try fishing, maybe even be the first humans to domesticate penguins and other shit to eat.

All this assuming the Antarctic treaty (that covers ecological matters, among other things) doesn't blow any kind of plan we could come up with.

There are also abandoned towns on the South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands but these belong to the UK (ehem) and claimed by Argentina (:D)
Maybe if we sneak up into them no one would notice until it's too late and we scream for idependency?

I was reading about it, it wouldn't work. Some of them have been declared forbidden zoen due to danger from collapsing structures (we could sort this out) and asbestos poisoning (this one we could not). And the ones we could habitate are trourist destinations so we would get spotted right away.

If you're really into that stuff, mainly what we're waiting on is vertical mariculture. That will create a legitimate business need for saturation diving habitats in support of it.

Right now most opereations are limited to a couple of enclosures that can easily be harvested on the surface by teams of divers operating from boats.

But as you stack the enlosures down into the ocean making improve use of the 3D space for cultivation, it will become nessesary for divers to operate for extended periods, on the same site, over many years.

That happens to be the sort of usage profile where saturation diving habitats start to make sense.

Holy shit, those oil rigs look so fucking cozy and autism-friendly. Would gladly live there, no women and other subhumans - only STEM masterrace members. It's a shame that I have skills that aren't very useful on platform like that.
>>
>>55269866
>no women
that's gay
>>
>>55269908
No, it is not. Gay means performing some form of sex with another male or being attracted to him. Presence of women has nothing to do with it.
>>
>>55270077
Women are kind of strange creatures. But their presence would make moral atmosphere more nice.
>>
>>55269866

I know just what you mean btw. The oil and gas industry winds up creating a lot of rad little forts in the process of actually getting at oil and gas
