I think Riga is beautiful, but it is otherwise a very small country with very little history. I bought a Moscow subway token from ebay from a guy in Latvia once. Something about the nondescript nature of the country intrigues me, the flag and the name give nothing away so the mind is left guessing.

to be fair, Latvia is catching up quite rapidly and even surpassing us in few industry related parts. Our countries are so closely together that if one will start lagging behind the other considerably, a mass of businesses will quickly cross the border.
