This doesn't make much sense. Something is cheaper to make is cheaper to sell. So don't buy cheap things buy more expensive premium quality things.

Worker unions are not anti-capitalist. They are absolutely fine when they are run by the workers and not managed by the government. Like here in Australia where government workers have their own unions and will close down the train networks.
