Who in particular is the most to blame for the progressive indoctrination of so many young people?

My vote is this guy.

No he just made it mainstream.

It mostly starts with the Universities, going all the way back to 1920's. Whitaker Chambers was even talking about how he became a hardcore Communist in the 1920's due to the influence of his English professor at Columbia in the 1920's. Progressivism stresses intellectual and moral superiority combined with a lack of accountability. So naturally it fits in well with academics. If we want to stop it, we need a serious overhaul of our universities.

I doubt it. He's been on TV for a long time. I eagerly drank his kool aide around the turn of the century but still managed to grow up. Then again he was a bit more even handed back then and not a total shill. He used to call out liberal bullshit just as often as he made fun of faux news. He probably got worse when I stopped watching TV.

How do you feel about Ben Carson's plan for the I.R.S?
>>
Nah his average audience was like 38-42.
>>
>>55199088
My bad, not the I.R.S, just woke up not sure why I said I.R.S, the board of education is what I meant to say. When asked if he would get rid of it, he said he'd keep it but change it to a systematic investigation of schools for progressive bias and indoctrination.
>>
My bet would be the academia. Stewart is small fry compared to that.

No one in particular, I think a lot of the completely reasonable conservatives were drowned out from their not so reasonable counterparts. So it becomes a choice between the old racist guy yelling at everyone OR a humorous guy that talks about getting along. Maybe the guy yelling is right, but there's not much appealing to young people about it.

Literally nobody watches TV anymore grandpa
And the whole librafat movement hasn't gained steam for the last couple of years. Why you've really got to blame is just a bunch of Youtubers ranging from feminists to betas to anywhere in between.
Like for example this feminist who spouts a bunch of shit how women are oppressed, when they aren't.

I was just thinking about this the other day. It seems that, in line with this picture, the genuine path of right-wing politics has to go down a road of conspiracy theories, paranoia, racism, antisemitism, and xenophobia eventually. Because science, facts, historical evidence, etc will all lead there once you study enough of the world and the human race. Thus, there is a blurred line between step one and step 4, as it were. Meanwhile on the left basically every Democratic voter is on the same side of a coin in wanting Socialism, no boarders, no guns, free drugs, free food, etc.

This is something long, long in the making. It began in the 1950s with the Red Scare. McCarthyism, in a sense, was totally correct. There was a communist foothold within Hollywood. They tried to snuff it out with blacklisting and it failed. Then it backfired.

This gave way to the rise of leftist Hollywood, a population and culture that despises conservative values while simultaneously being able to influence the American people on a massive scale. Bitterness and backlash from the McCarthy period has birthed a progressive media machine that manages to control most of what the American people are exposed to in order to further a political agenda.

Given the choice, most people (especially young ones) are going to choose to watch irreverent comedy or some other distraction. We have a massive group of eligible voters who get all of their news from Comedy Central, from heavily edited video clips and brief 'gotcha' quips that are followed by the forced laughter of a live audience in front of an 'Applause' sign.

Hard to blame it on any one person. McCarthy, however, might actually be the most to blame for how he handled the situation in American media.

More like you've got to blame the art and educational establishments which so successfully push out alternate viewpoints.

>Who in particular is the most to blame for the progressive indoctrination of so many young people?

Republicans. Hands down. Here's why:

>visit Kikebart
>read the comments
>most republicans are baby boomers
>visit PJEWMEDIA
>read the comments
>most republicans are baby boomers
>Go to the Wall Street Jewnal
>read the comments
>most republicans are baby boomers

The right has done ABSOLUTELY nothing to tap into the youth so the left has stepped in and capitalized. I'm sick and tired of going to sites like PJMEDIA and Breitbart who try to act cool and trendy but it's all an illusion because the writers are all old guys and the commenters are all old guys.

I like the daily show better when Kilborn started it.

I liked the Jon Stewart-era daily show better when it was known as "Talk Soup" hosted by Greg Kinnear.

>I decided to play a little hooky today.
I drove down to my hometown of Ruby Shoals, which is right on the shore.
Angie, show 'em a bit of where we're at.
Go on.
OK, so it was tore up some by Sandy, but you get the general Oh, grab a shot of them gulls there.
Cute little suckers.
Anyway, being back on this beach reminds me of what a privilege it was to grow up in a place where you could run through tide pools, hunt for sharks' teeth, blow up crabs with cherry bombs Man, that's just good times.
Anywho, Ruby Shoals has always been pretty conservative.
Soid Republican.
And as Republicans, the thing we believed in most of all was opportunity.
Which meant we believed in building stuff to create opportunity.
Like roads and schools and power grids.
It was a Republican, Ike, who built our highway system.
And another, Nixon, who created the EPA to protect what we are looking at right now.
As conservatives, we believed in conservin' and free markets, which is why most of us used to favor cap and trade to fight climate change.
Anyway, that was then.
We don't believe in climate change now.
Or any research into it.
Same with mandates or infrastructure or background checks or a dozen other things we used to support before we got within pissin' range of the Tea Party.
I've about had it with all that.

what do americans think of this speech?
