No. The main reason was that many of the rebels were AK (Armia Krajowa) which would oppose any occupation, even the Soviet. So they've let them just kill each other out, so there will be a smaller problem with them in the future.

The reason why soviets didnt intervene was quite different. Stalin was planning to create puppet communist Poland with the government under his thumb.
If he helped the uprising, the uprising government would rule new Polannd. Since they were actually fighting for their independence, its was unlikely that they would become soviet puppet if Stalin kindly asked. Also Stalin didnt want any free minded freedom loving people in commie Poland, so it was good for his plan if they actually died during the uprising.
So he just wait till they all died off and then took the spoils for himself

since Slovakia was actually part of the axis, Slovaks started uprising to show that they actually arent evil natzees, so that Red army wouldnt turn slovakia into moonscape. it worked somehow.
Funny fact :in the early 1940s, Slovak leader father Tiso asked Hitler to give him Moravia, since moravians were oppressed by evil czechs and vere slovaks in denial anyway. He didnt get anything obviously
Funny fact 2: Slovaks have so few relevant historical figures, that even today they have streets named after Tiso

and didnt just that happen. USA provded material support to soviets in order to keep them in the war, but didnt actually land in german occupied land until Soviet army started pushing germans back, so americans went in to maximize their land grab. Roosevelt actually said in his memoirs that his greatest goal is to destroy British empire, so maybe part of his masterplan was to send money and materials to Brits in order to keep them in war (and take as much pounding as possible), while Brits endebted heavily to america. You got screwed as well without even knowing it
