Will leftists stop progress because of their irrational fear of guns, when in some years everyone will be able to print whatever they want (including guns) due to cheap 3D printers?

What do you think will happen? Will they ban 3D printers or make you apply for a license?

> muh ridiculous hyped tech

You realize it's a lot easier to make a gun from a piece of piping than a 3D printer, right? You can go to a hardware store and make a gun in like 30 minutes.

They'll ban them with such force it will shake the heavens.

Get yours soon.

Disgruntled white males downloading guns from the internet, we have to stop this for the children and shit.
>>
Maybe a record will be taken of everything that is printed, and that will be sent to the gov or accessible to the government.
(Not saying that is a desirable outcome)

Nigger all you need is a pipe.

Wasn't all too hard.

However making Magazines is where this baby will really shine.

Right now it's expensive and low quality. But in 10 years we will see really good stuff coming out of these printers.

>B-but 3D printers
Literally a meme.

Now, a single day or two in almost any workshop in America?
That's the clincher.

Yeah, all these evil assault weapon accessories will be a non-issue when everyfag can print as many of them they want and it won't even require top of the line printing equipment.

If you've seen the changes that have occurred in the tech of these printers in just 2-3 years since they hit consumer level... you'd be eating your words brother

this, plus you can buy a an actual mill and convert it to CNC for about 2K with some stepper motors, LinuxCNC and controller boards. You can pump out aluminum AR lowers all day erry day. (not that I would ever advocate this as it is totally illegal, of course)

nozzles are extremely unreliable. the market has gotten all fucked up since RepRap fucked everything and everyone. There will never be a fully-polymer printed firearm that can handle high pressure rounds for than a couple firings. CNC mills are just as cheap if not cheaper, already.

3D printing is useful for visualizing prototypes, rapidly. That's about the end of them.
