In all seriousness though, the current hypothesis is that there wasn't nothing exactly before the big bang, but instead a vast fluctuating energy field. When at random enough energy gathers at one point on a multiversal scale, it reaches a sort of critical mass, and a universe is born.
It's purely theoretical, and as yet unproven, but still pretty cool.
