>A successful lawsuit against a gun store in Milwaukee is bringing hope to Chicago anti-violence activists, who say they want gun dealers in their area to “wake up” and do more to keep guns out of the hands of criminals.
>In a first, a jury decided Tuesday to hold a gun shop in Milwaukee liable for two police officers left permanently scarred on June 9, 2009 after a man shot them in the face during a stop. The shooter fired a gun purchased at Badger Guns on his behalf by another man — a “straw purchase,” since the shooter wasn’t old enough to buy one himself, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. The jury awarded $6 million to the officers.
Does this mean I can sue GM and Ford for DWI accidents now?

Might just mean clerks will stop correcting people when they check "No" on the "Are you purchasing this gun for yourself" question.
>tracing Rustle's work
Rustle'd.

Meanwhile Clinton and Sanders want to repeal the law that protects gun sellers, even after this successful lawsuit
Of course none of them will complain about why they're not arrested, just as they complained about bankers not being arrested

Wait, so the gun shop is supposed to prevent their customers from doing illegal things that result in another illegal thing? (Stop illegal sale of firearm that was later used in attempted murder)

No, but you can sue a bartender who's selling alcohol to someone obviously heavily intoxicated and going to go drive

The gun shop sold a gun to someone who was going to buy it through a straw purchase. The person that was going to buy the gun from the other person even in the store.
They've also linked 500 other guns involved in shootings
Of course no one from the government has gotten in trouble over Fast & Furious
And the guy who originally bought the gun then sold it only got 2 years. You know he'll be out soon doing it again and there are dozens of others still doing it

*sell it to someone else through
*was even

But stores can sell cases of beer or bottles of liquor without questioning anyone

Not to someone obviously about to use a case of alcohol in an illegal way.

The government loves this shit. Money changes hands multiple times, so they make even more money via taxes. It is so blatantly obvious that it has become disgusting. And of course the high dollar law firms pay towards certain judges and their reelection fund. Fuck society, we get what they asked for. The stupid will inherit the earth, and give it away to the highest fucking bidder. REEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
