The 90s weren't perfect, but it was the last decade when the degeneracy and bullshit was still relatively alien to regular people.
Homos, trannies and other weirdos were tolerated but people didn't feel like they had to treat them as if they were normal. Politically too things were better, illegal immigration was pretty much universally agreed to be illegal even if the political will was lacking to do anything about it. Crime was still crime, and black lives mattered no more or less than anyone else's.
Whites felt some responsibility for the negative side of their history but the "whiteness studies/white privilege" meme was still confined to academia, and most people still felt on balance that Western civilization was a good thing, warts and all.
Now we're into some really weird territory where a plurality of whites are clueless, a large minority are totally paranoid, and non-whites are in a vengeful and shitty mood all the time, whipped up by SJW parasites, commies, kikes, freaks, and opportunists.
I don't know where it's all going and I'm not sure I want to.
