I'd have to say that it depends on that particular person's mentality and self confidence. There's a lot of attractive people who end up no where and killing themselves and there's a lot of ass ugly people who are confident and happy with their lives.

It's the parents fault
I was born at 26 weeks(this was in 1992 so Europe was still jarring any kid born under 28 weeks without exception because of their socialist healthcare) and had to stay in hospital for a month and a half before I could go home.
I almost died 3 times and every single doctor that took a look at me said I would be a full on potato who would be lucky to be able to speak properly let alone have a normal life.
I honestly would have been okay with my parents having me euthanized considering how obvious it was that I would be potato.
Somehow though I am 100% fine with 0 problems other than my immune system not developing the most common of defenses against flora so even light brushes against the skin gives me a narghly rash.
I am completely for killing a baby that's fucked up and will live the rest of its life either a mind trapped in an inoperable body or debilitated and crippled for life with nothing but pain and ridicule along with limitations on a massive scale to look forward to their whole life. It's selfish of the parents and not fair to those who have to grow up that fucked as well as the emotional as well as financial stress it puts on its family.
Take it from somebody who has seen hundred of people and children born the exact same way as him and barely able to string together a sentence and are considered gifted if they can play the violin.
