Has a country ever been founded and become a 1st world country as quickly as Israel?

South Korea maybe, but they got more aid than Israel has (i.e. reconstruction aid, direct protection of US troops, etc). US aid to Israel wasn't a big thing until the 1970's.
The whole first world third world thing comes from the cold war. First world countries alligned with the US/capitalism. Second world with Soviets/communism. Third were the countries that didn't do either. They just minded their own business. The concept of first/second/third world nations has nothing to do with money

They are smart and mostly good people who have tried to keep everything in order and right. As well as limiting the extremist religious views. They deserve it. And dont deserve what is happening until a truce takes place. It's no longer their fault. It's like telling the white people from the americas to leave. It doesn't make sense. Not even to muslim arabs themselves.
