I don't really watch anime. Attack on titan is my first. I heard that attack on titan is a good show regardless of it being anime. Holy fuck. All the interactions are so forced and over the top. This isn't how people interact, so unnatural. It's like it's actually going over the top with emotions so autists can understand.
How can anyone actually enjoy this shit. Its like they have no experience with human interaction. Its all so fucking forced. I physically cringe every time they mutter a speech. Do anime fags really think this is how people interact?
Also, what's with all the interior dialogue about shit we can clearly see?

But they aren't supposed to be cartoon people. Something like pokemon is not designed to act like people. Something serious and dramatic automatically makes it an attempt at real human emotions. The simpsons cannot have an actual dramatic episode no matter how hard they try. Drama = real believable human emotion.

The dramatic is what this show is striving for. The core of drama is human emotion. Fear, love, pain, courage. For something to be dramatic you need to feel a connection to the people. AoT does a real shit job of that.
