What do you guys think about the most technically proficient band of all time, musically, politically, or otherwise?

>>44250980
This band?
>>44250980
Who?
>>44250980
past your bedtime, dad
>>44250980
Rush ok, Doors , zeppelin better... always
They're a bunch of old, stuffy Canadians who need to listen to their fan base more often. Music's great, though.
Libertarians are so overrated...
>>44250980
One of the greatest bands of all time. Very Libertarian, very sound-minded, red pilled as fuck.
They were tipping fedoras before we were even born.

Alex liefson is highly over rated.
That's not Yes
>>44251200
Nice one...
>>44250980
Jonas Brothers
>>44251273
Overrated? Listen to his solos. He is frequently underrated. His ability to switch between Lead and Rhythm seemlessly is untouchable
>>44251293
Wow fuck, good answer anon. Shit, what IS the median age on pol anyway??
>>44251377
I can verify, this anon is 12
>>44251354
His solos are simple. He just runs them through heavy sound effects.
Dave Grohl as a one-man band.
>>44250980
Rage against the machine.
>>44251453
Definitely better than alex leifson.
>>44251411
Go through their discography from '74-'81. Tell me that all of his playing is simple.
>>44250980
They're great, but they're no Pink Floyd.
>>44251485
You're funny
>>44251465
>RATM
>technically proficient
>hey look, guys, I can make my guitar sound like a turntable
>why?
>...
>>44251465
/pol/ can't like RATM because Zack raps too
I thought you guys hated black music?
>>44250980
Beatles
>>44251500
At least Alex (unlike David Gilmour) can solo in 7/8
>>44251491
Bitch, I was listening to rush in the seventies. Before you even heard of them. Neil pert is a great drummer, Getty Lee is okay on bass, alex leifson is totally mediocre.
>>44251570
>The Beatles
>Ringo Starr
>>44251598
>I was listening to rush in the seventies
>Getty
>okay on bass
Just leave, no one here believes you.
>>44251598
>Getty
>okay
No one believes you, Anon. Go back to your 5SOS
>>44251587
David Gilmour has something Alex Leifson can never, ever have: feeling.
>>44251696
Watch any of his live solos
>>44251587
Sure. But there isn't a better composed album than Dark Side of the Moon. There isn't a single other album out there that's even compares as a total package.
While everyone in Rush has incredible technical skill, the composition of their stuff is loose to the point of jarring. They're binary - they're either paused or they're cranked up to 11. That's Rush.
>>44251753
They are even worse than studio.
>>44251696
It's true. I never knew what it felt like to take a handful of horse tranquilizers until I heard David Gilmour's playing.
>>44250980
>Rush
Thanks anon, i needed a good laugh
