It's debatable which room he went to first, 10 or 8. He definitely went to 12 but the teacher had huddled all the kids in the bathroom. It would make sense that he went to 10 next, then 8. The confusion arises as to why he was back in 10 where he shot himself. The bullet shell from his pistol was out in the hall, so, imo he:

When I was at Head O'Meadow, I graduated in 2001. It was Mrs. King's class, she was a blonde, middle aged lady. In the graduating class, there were 4 classes. Each had roughly 20-30 students. So, mathematically, we, tops, graduated 120 kids (give or take). I remember one class had considerably less kids because some of the kids were considered "mentally handicapped" so teachers in that class could focus on their needs. For me, it's the culmination of everything regarding Sandy Hook that discredits the story.
In all these threads, there's people always discussing and debating over just one part of the entire mess of things.
There are excuses made for each and every inconsistency, poor decision, strange connection, mix-up, mistake, etc, and, truthfully, these excuses often make sense. However, there comes a point when there are just too many flimsy excuses that you can longer believe in any of them.
That is what gets me the most, the entire culmination of excuses, and mental gymnastics that people need to do to make sense of this story discredits it entirely.
I mean, can you imagine if Adam Lanza was still alive, and went to trial for the shooting? If the only evidence against him was the evidence that has been released to the public, there's no way he could be convicted.

You can make an excuse for every single thing that happened.
-Adam's DNA was lacking from the weapons and the car
>The crime lab messed up obviously. Surely the crime lab would so carelessly mess up DNA from a national tragedy, and then proceed to completely ignore the horribly erroneous findings.
-Completely bizarre police and emergency response: massive gridlock, no triage, complete disregard to standard emergency protocol, police alone going in and saying "well, everyone's dead," poor investigation of the crime scene, etc, etc.
