Oh it was awful. It was a general history course of the modern era with a focus on politics. So we were going over the major political movements and would write essays on them and shit.
Well the lectures were horrible. He spent most of the class talking about how whites destroyed the planet, Europeans are space aliens who care about nothing but genocide, and how blacks in Africa would have been civilized if the barbaric Europeans didn't invade them.

The Native Americans were few in number, spread out, regularly killed each other (in fact many of the first slaves in America were Natives that had been captured by their rivals and were sold to the White man, but many of them died in captivity in the first year or two from disease which ended up being a driving force behind the start of the North Atlantic Slave Trade).
African slaves didn't really do that much shit because we never had that many of them. They made a handful of people (1%) rich, thats it. Most of the slaves got shipped to South America and the islands where they died by the thousands to the harsh jungle environments and diseases. So even 300 years ago slaves in America had it pretty good by comparison.
Mexico sold that land to the USA, and then tried to take it back by force after they had our money. We did indeed push their shit in for crossing us.
