Every time I've ever ordered a pizza I would give a specific amount of money to the delivery driver and he would ask something along he lines of "are we all good here?" I always took this as a polite way of asking if the change is his tip. This actually makes things go way easier if you ask me. That doesn't make the guy in the video any less of an ass though. He could have easily played him in exact change or said something when the pizza guy started to walk away.

If I give the delivery driver a 20 and I don't want to tip that much, I ask for change back and then give him his tip out of that. However, I used to deliver pizzas, and if someone gave me a 20 without saying anything I'd generally ask if they wanted change back, unless the bill was like 17+.
