Las vegas only has the casinos going for it. Cuba would not only have the Casinos and resorts, but water based activities such as diving,deep sea fishing,lounging on the beach,classic car watching,and other activities not including Cuban tourism.
With Cuba you could have a safe destination that parents can send their children to.
Cuba is a shortish boating distance away from Florida,so it might help boost the economy during what is not a tourist season..
