Why is there so much hype for an X-1 solar flare? its literally nothing, our geomagnetic shield will block most of it. The best we'll see is a radio blackout and some auroras on high latitudes. Solar storm of 1859 was presumed to be class X- 40 or even a Z class, it fucked all the telegraphs and caused copper wires to glow bright.
