That is what I thought when I first saw the story on Daily Mail dot com on Friday morning. There was a photo of the entire family standing together and one of the young sons was doing an odd handsign - he had both his arms crossed in front of him with his hands pointing down doing the peace sign, but up side down since his arms were down. It was bizarre. I have tried to find the photo and cannot. It is no longer on the Daily Mail story, they replaced it with the family photo of them all sitting together wearing blue shirts. I would not use the word "resilient." Resilient is the father who can get up and speak eloquently after finding out his child has been killed, and can proceed to do what needs to be done, but you can still see the pain and emotion in his eyes, and even perhaps hear it in his voice.
These kids, on the other hand, laugh and smile and seem carefree. I see no pain or emotion or sadness in their eyes. If the media is using these victims as role models for tragedy, then what they are teaching is to not care and blow it off as just an "oh well" happening. It is a rather inhuman way to respond to tragedy, which is what The Powers That Be are all about - they do everything opposite humanity.

It could a been a bb gun but the guys that cornered me were very scumbaggy drug dealers ~20 years old.. so it likely was a real gun. I won't lie, I was 12, I was scared shitless in tears but I managed to talk my way out of it and I was definitely not crippled with fear, I was considering resisting but it was 3 on one and they were bigger and faster.
