It's called "being a good person" bruh. As a Catholic who's slowly sliding towards non-practicing (not going to church except when I'm visiting family) I don't see anything wrong with your current standpoint. You don't need to force yourself to embrace the theological side. Even among Christian denominations there are differences about that stuff.
If you really want to go all the way, just find explanations that make sense. Stuff like "the bible says God created everything in 7 days, but what is "7 days" to an immortal entity before the creation of the solar system". You know what I mean? Plenty of that stuff is open enough for personal interpretation.
