I went to a really tough high school, became an eagle scout, did a lot of community service and spent hours and hours every night studying/doing homework to get in.
I think what really got me in though was I built a sunflower garden for a struggling native American community. Every time I mentioned that in the interview the guy's eyes lit up. It's a pretty great school and since it's the south everyone seems more down to earth than what I'm used to.
