You'd need a tremendous discontent among the people. And I mean famine, constant unrest, illness, etc.
What you actually have is two groups, somewhat content with their lives, hating each other. If anything, the goverment will try to shut either one down but the police and military won't side with anybody, they'll do as they're told.
Are modern young men really as childish and irresponsible as women say they are? I want to disagree but I see too many young men who want to remain single, fuck around, half-ass work and play video games while young women want to achieve things or commit to a relationship. As time goes on, I'm beginning to question whether marriage is a good idea or not. Here's my arguments against marriage:
>you can have a child out of wedlock
>you can still have a monogamous relationship out of marriage
>in the case of divorce, you're safe when it comes to division of assets (rather, lack thereof)
But there's some benefits to marriage:
>get to have a nice ceremony
>get tax breaks
In the past, marriage was a lifelong commitment through thick and thin. It was in each person's interest to work through the shortcomings and eventually overcome them. But now? Divorce is rampant. 100 years ago divorce was a once-in-a-blue-moon kind of ordeal, it was exceedingly rare, but now it's fairly commonplace.
My dream for a long time was to have a beautiful wedding with a pretty and polite lady, get married and have two children. But now I'm a little scared of marriage.
Can someone here clear my mind?
