As in, you volunteer or do it for a living and have done so for some time. You know the names of your city councilors without googling, or at least what ward of your city/town you live in and what state representative represents you.
Also, anyone who doesn't pay attention to local politics, why? You realize they immediately effect you much, much more than whether Trump wins or loses, right?
Can you even name a single state senator in your state without googling? Do you know when your state's budget is passed? How about how it is allotted? You complain all the time about taxes, but do you know even a tiny bit about where they go and who decides how they're spent?

I went on vacation and couldn't get the news or /pol/ for a week. During that time I read Trumps 'art of the deal' and I realized something:
We all here spend so much time worrying about politics, about gun laws, about refugees and liberals, jews and the NWO, niggers and degeneracy. But to what end?
We achieve nothing, change nothing, and have to fold anyway under the boot of the political elite.
The only way to escape this is to become as rich as you possibly can. SHTF doesn't affect rich people, socialism doesn't affect them, neither do refugees or gun control, and the jews are their friends.
We here on /pol/ are putting the cart before the horse, trying to change politics without any power. What we should do is make like Trump: acquire true power, aka money/wealth, then once you are virtually invincible, get into politics and actually change things.
So from now on I've decided to just be prepared for SHTF and to do everything in my power to get rich, and don't worry too much about politics because they just get in the way.
Money = freedom (also freedom from politics), and money = power (to change politics)
So next time you are raging about some bad /pol/ news, take it lightly and focus your energy on making money instead.
