Obviously, as a member of the European Union, Britain has zero capacity to enforce upper-limits on intra-EU migration. Leaving the EU would enable us to say, "only x-many people are entering Britain this year".
However, this is only in theory. Realistically, UKIP are never going to get anywhere near the number of seats as Labour or Conservative. Labour certainly aren't going to impose strict limits on migration and I'm unsure whether even the Conservatives would; the likes of Cameron, Osbourne, May and Gove seem to perpetuate the same old, "immigration is good for Britain", bullshit.
So what I'm worried about is whether leaving the EU would simply mean we take in more immigrants for other parts of the world and our net migration figures don't change all that much. And if it comes to that, I'd much rather be importing Eastern Europeans (who, for the most part, are White social conservatives) than even more Muslims from the Middle-East and South Asia.

Either way the EU is dying, and while white Eastern Europeans are valuable many stay only temporarily. And let's not forget that the thousands of rapefugees in Europe may eventually get EU passports and get as much freedom of travel as any Slav.
