I do critiicsized a lot for being on the pc all the time. My favorite accusation is that everything on the internet is fake. Which is funny to me, because it's exactly as you said, we have nearly limitless information at our finger tips which actually negates the need to go to college for the most part. About the only information that's not available on the internet or at least the public surface level internet are the highly specialized information that only the USA's top universities' libraries have access to.
It's funny when you think about it, College universities now play the role that churches once did in the West. They control and monitor who has access to certain kinds of knowledge which is normally not available to the public.
