you nailed the best time of day for exterior architectural shots when the inside lights are glowing warmly and the sky is turning a deep blue.
Best method for perfect exterior is to set up your camera on a tripod just before golden hour, then take shots every few minutes over the next hour as the sun sets and the sky turns darker blue.
You want to get a great exposure for the building, another exposure for just the lights in the windows (so they're not blown out), and a third exposure for the sky. This takes patience because the light conditions are constantly changing as the sun goes down, so you'll need to just keep chimping.
Combine the sky, exterior, and light exposures in photoshop. Youtube has some great tutorials, just search twilight+shot+real+estate.

it's not easy to get a good shot of a tennis court. If I were trying to shoot that professionally, I'd either try a drone or else use a pole, meaning a 16 foot painter's pole with camera mounted on top and triggered by wifi or camranger.

Both was one expo, nothing modified. No additional equipment, luckily for me they recently installed cold LED street lamps.
I noticed that a storm is coming and there was hell of a lightning, so I grabbed my camera and tripod and rushed to the nearby cemetery, these two were the luckiest shots, I missed some cooler, more epic lights because the fiddling around...

I'm enjoying it. I think the reason I was having problems with it as first is because it's humid as fuck down here and so any pictures with sunlight in them have a weird glowing effect. But it's quick to focus, silent, sharp, virtually no CA/vignetting (which is to be expected), and the colors look great.
