Question about where to buy a DSLR from

I'm in the market for a Nikon D5500 and I've been looking all over the place to buy it for 600-700 dollars. I wont be able to buy it from any retailer like Best Buy or Nikon's website, as they sell for around 900 there, so I've gone on a hunt through the internet.
I have a few candidates so far and I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Apologies for any of my ignorance when discussing this topic/if this isn't really allowed on the board:
I first was wondering whether I should buy from DigiRev, as I have seen their videos and feel like I can trust them. I did a bit of research and found out they were more or less grey market.. So the warranty would be basically non-existent.
Then I looked through ebay and found a few sellers with amazingly high review rates and lots of products sold, plus they were offering good deals. I'm still unsure to this as... you know, Ebay.
Finally, I read up and saw that buying refurbished isn't all too bad.. So I think my safest bet is to buy from an amazon seller...
What do you guys think?

OP, buy your shit from Adorama, Amazon or B&H. Best Buy will price match. Cameras are a very narrow margin item and almost never go on sale, so if it seems like it's a ridiculously good deal, it's either a scam or an warranty-less grey market camera.
