To me, place is somewhere which holds a unique life of its own. It can be any space; a shopping mall, a small plaza, a beach. And likewise, those spaces I mentioned could have no sense of place at all. It's all about the experience and relationship the space has with its people.
If I shot this series I would shoot a number of different places and try my best to capture what they mean for people.
