getting corrupted images from my camera. first time previewed it, it's alright, but the 2nd time it's getting messed. already checked my cf, it's alright. what is wrong with my gear?

format the card in the camera, dont edit files on the card while its in your computer, dont use shitty fucking cards

i'm pretty sure it's not the memcard. i once tried to transfer them directly thru my cam, they're messed up, all of em.
but then i tried using card reader (same files) and they're just fine, tho 2-3 pics were stillcorrupted

Looks like the sensor's toast...though it's hard to tell since the D70s doens't have liveview.
Did you go to a concert, or any gig with lasers for that matter? Lasers will FRY THE SHIT out of your sensor. Seen it firsthand.

I think, if it's happening only through USB transfer, it has something to do with the transmission from camera to PC. If it happens on the memory card, it is probably the memory card. If they are fine from the memory card, I would check the SMART status of your hard drive or reinstall your JPEG codecs if possible. Maybe you could try using a different computer and seeing if the results are the same with a different system.
