Well... yeah. As stated in >>2821813, on April 17th, Brazil stopped to watch
the voting for the impeachment process of Mrs. Rousseff in our lower house --
which took place after more than two days of uninterrupted debate and lasted
more than six hours. It was a big, big deal -- the most important political
happening in our recent history. The last time a president faced such trial
was almost 24 years ago...
Pro- and anti-impeachment protesters gathered in different places to follow
the voting process. We had an idea of the results, but this didn't make the
whole thing easier for anyone who was watching everything... I mean, anything
could happen, after all. We were watching a decisive moment, and I tried to
photograph that. I went to the biggest protests -- the pro-impeachment.

The process started at 2pm, with party leaders stating the party's position about the impeachment. Party's positions were only a guidance to their lawmakers; the final decision was individual. Two-thirds of our lower house -- or 342 lawmakers -- had to say "yes" for the impeachment process in order to pass the motion.

I think she will. She's going to be suspended next week for 180 days to face trials in our Senate. Our vice-president will replace her during this time. It's unlikely that she'll be able to return after that period... I mean, in the unlikely case she's actually acquitted by our Senate, how would she govern the country, with more than two-thirds of our lower house against her?
I think her time is over, and so is the time of Workers' Party. Personally, I'm glad for this, but definitely this doesn't represents the end of our problems -- which are moral above all... and are deeply related with an intense love for ideologies and an ostensible refusal of the reality.
