Fisheye is my favourite lense, I really have a blast shooting with it.

Let me take pictures of nothing with a strange lens. People will love it.
Not extreme, but noticeably bowed compared to shots by the 35mm equivalent.

I bought a cheep wide angle and a cheep fisheye lens attachments. these are my test shots (regular 18mm, wide-angle zoomed, fisheye zoomed)
should i bother with these or just kms now

yeah it's the bower fisheye lens. it's not amazing quality because of the aberrations but it's a lot of fun honestly. i can't afford a $500 macro lens so it keeps me pacified. messes with the color a bit and of course you need to use relatively high aperture values to maximize focus.
as a bonus the rear lens comes off which is a +10 diopter close-up lens in itself

No, fisheye is not what you want. The fisheye effect is gimmicky, ESPECIALLY if you're going for abstract. That said, here's a few super old shots for my contribution.

Definitely not my favourite, although very interesting lens to play with. Fisheye may seem like a cliché at first, but actually these lenses can have many different applications.

Haven't bought it yet but my friends might sell it to me for ~$100
