NYC is nice for travel. Some people are really nice :) this old white lady was super friendly and conversed well and some are really mean :( like this black lady at a coffee store who looked she was straight out of compton
And then there's Central Park. I couldn't capture it well, but the combination of nature and urban jungle is just fantastic

I had my camera set to portrait by accident. It was a bad mistake because yeah I see it could've been better. Oh well better than the ipotato 5s at least. By the way, do you think photos with the 6s are any good? I mean I took great photos with it

A good photographer will make a good photo from any camera, no matter how shit. A good camera will not make a shit photo any better.
I was in NYC in January and had a great time. Visiting from overseas so it was quite full on, never experienced anything like it. Anyway, I tried not to take many typical touristy shots and went more for the people since that's what makes the city interesting.

I live in nyc and I love it. You can take the cliché photos which is fun as hell but you don't have to. There are so many other things to photograph that it never gets boring. If anybody has any questions I'd give it my best shot. Last nyc thread I made a huge post about my favorite locations to shoot.
Damn guys really good photos. I really like the idea of taking photos of the people, it never gets old because of the millions of them. In the end, there aren't millions upon millions of buildings and cools things to see

Don't be fooled. I mostly take pictures of buildings and plants (haha) but I'm starting to take more pictures of people because it's nyc where people don't give a shit. Unless they are black where you have a 25% that they will insult you and threaten you and a 25% chance that they will want to pose for you and be the best subjects ever.

Damn awesome photos. I really wish I had taken more photos when I was in NYC. Btw, does anyone know how I can gain roof access to one of the tall buildings over 5th avenue? I've seen some urban explorers do it, and I was wondering if it was possible without being kicked out of a building. Also, has anyone taken cool pictures of the abandoned military base in Long Island? That's a great place for some wallpaper quality photos

Living in NYC it's a little hard looking at things to take photos of when you already see photos of it. The urban side isn't as neat but there are some places I want to take photos of. I really want to do some urban exploration (and subway exploration) but I hate the thought of getting into legal shit. Then again, that's just the pussy in me talking.

Living in NYC is great, although lately I've been finding it hard to shoot. I think it is so photogenic, its hard to come up with a solid photograph. You really need to take everything in and have some tunnel vision at the same time.

Yeah it's a neat little camera. Fits in my jacket pocket but takes great photos. It's pretty usable up until about ISO 6400, after that starts to look noticeably grainy.
Why do I think that the most random places actually make a pretty good place for pictures
