Who's your favourite youtuber and why is it Kai Man Wong?
I really like every frame a painting and ted forbes. Some /p/eople dont like ted and think he talks to much shit but I think they just have no clue about photography
I do watch DigitalRev and Bokeh regularly. I also watch Mijonju Show from time to time.
I genuinely dislike Jared Polin.
Weapons of Mass Production used to be a really cool channel. Sadly, they haven't had any update in a few years already.

Chuck Jines and Angry Photographer are the only ones I bother with. Jines is great for actualy photographing advice and the fat bald dude is just entertaining gear faggotry.
Everyone else is just drama and comedy, which I get enough of from the Angry Photographer.

The reason they're all shit is because he's focusing on reviewing the equipment and remembering his lines not taking pictures. He's a decent photographer but you have to remember what his priority is here.
Look up his own personal blog/flickr or whatever the fuck else he has. I believe he used to shoot a lot of landscape when he lived in the UK and it was decent stuff

I agree that he isn't distracted, but the review is the cause. If you have to test a camera, you can't force interesting things to happen on the street. You have to take 50 photo with a camera, some people will wait a month for 50 interesting things to happen out on the street, but he's got like 20 minutes.

He rambles way too much, gives you information that's already available elsewhere and doesn't usually post photos. It's 100% gear orientated without fulfilling the gear side. He's an advanced amateur at best and every single one of his videos requires double speed.
I do not have 20-30 minutes per video to learn nothing new. I guess I can see why Fuji/Leica reps like him though, it is free exposure and he shills hard enough that his "community" buys the cameras/lenses.

exactly, I actually like learning tons of useful stuff, Angry Photographer is awesome and really invaluable. His vids on how to keep things stored, what tripods to use, how to tether and strap your cameras, lighting haxs are invaluable
Matt is nice too but also the B&H event space playlist is an absolute goldmine especially when learning about speedlight use but really anything
