So if I want to put my work up in one of those shitty coffee shop art shows, what should l do to get my ducks in a row first?
I.e. how do I show?

Get good prints (Match your processing, coloring, and exposure up with a printer that produces consistent results).
Mat them well.
Frame them nicely in consistent but minimal frames as to make the m look polished, but not distracting.
If it fits the purpose, try to keep your photos thematically linked.
