I need your opinion on which lens I should keep.
What does /p/ think.
Is the Sony F4 70-200 better than my Sony 24-240 3.5-6.3 FE
Currently auctioning my 24-240 FE Sony lens.

In the same situation as OP, can't seem to decide. Any input?

Don't bother. Get a Tamron 70-200 F2.8

GM 70-200 2.8

Not OP
I have a sony a7 and I have been thinking about getting the 70-200 F4 as well - why would you recommend an alpha mount 2.8? -wouldnt that be worse of in terms of AF and AF focus points due to the use of an adapter?
>>2775229
no, actually if you get the sony laea4 and a Sony mount lens, you get full DSLR type AF and it's much faster.

Well then I guess I am just a bit of an idiot - I have the la-ea4 but I have been using a tamron 70-300 USD and i have always though that the sluggish AF was due to the adapter, i guess it is just the lens...
