Im hella nervous about my first photography job. It's a 10 day yoga retreat in a beautiful area, I have access to pristine wildlife, gorgeous people doing interesting things, and I'm shitting myself that I'm not ready.
How was your first gig? How could you have improved it? Let me learn from your mistakes.

My gear: Nikon D3200, shit kit lens, nikor 1.8G 50mm, and 70-300 telephoto/macro nikor, tripod, and lightroom. I know my gear isn't epic mode, but it gets the job done.

Doesn't look bad to me, anon. The colors /skin tones of the first image are great. Lighting is nice as well. If I were you, I'd shoop out the stretch marks and also that bit of thread that'd hanging down her thigh. Other than that it's a nice photo.

My advice:
Bring 3 of everything. 3 cards, 3 batteries. 3 of anything else you need.
Things go wrong far more often when you're in a high pressure setting.

bruv if these are your images I don't think you've got anything to worry about. I'm sure your client will love them. Some of them are a little soft but nothing that's not correctable.

my advice would be to keep a feedback loop open with your client over the course of the 10 days, like every evening give them a quick rundown of the photos you took that day and ask them for feedback on what they want done differently.
But yeah buy extras of everything, especially if you're isolated. Maybe even grab a cheap point and shoot for the unlikely scenario your D3200 shits the bed. You can always return it after the 10 days if you never open it

I like a lot of these pictures, the only thing i really miss is an humble smile though.
Calm your nerves, pressure fucks with your performance. Think about the job as if you were doing this in your spare time, like hobby photography.
Otherwise you're doing well, experiment with some different angles.

If you don't know what you're doing to the point where you're worried if you can perform or not, you're not ready. Tell the organisation that they need to hire a real pro. Pass the job on to another photographer, as long as they bring you along and teach you.
The gear doesn't matter, but you owe it to a client to not be using a bottom of the barrel bag of kit. It's likely that someone could spend less on that kit than actually hiring you or even just your expenses, and get a similar result. Of course a nicer camera makes things easier too.
Get a cheapy film body as backup. You'll get hipster cred with the yoga chicks, and have something to fall back on without breaking the bank.

I would say you have little to nothing to worry about, OP. Keep it inspired, pay attention to framing (avoid overbusy backgrounds, make sure tree limbs aren't coming out of your subjects (unless that's the goal)), and avoid overdoing the postprocessing
