It's a gradient mask, just present on left side.
This was captured with a cellphone (not even has a decent sensor) dynamic range is shit, and was unsure if I'd want the houses appear visible at the time.
I get it, it's a snapshit, but at least it brings sort of a comfort, doesn't it.
For me it does, at least.
