Where can I get 4x5 or 8x10 film for cheap in canada?
I've been using x ray film, which makes this camera and shooting less expensive than a dslr, but the x ray film has such a low ISO. I'd like to use something more versatile, with a sensitivity up around 400, but that shit is like 50$ for 25 sheets. The best I could find online was 175 +30 shipping for 100 sheets. That's expensive shit.
I also looked at cheaper films like Arista, and they charge more than the cost of the product in fucking shipping. What do?

shit I gotta undush the inside of my hasselblad.

This is 2016. There is no "the cheap place" to get photo stuff. If 9 stores are selling something for $50, the 10th store is going to be selling it for $50 as well. Especially something as niche as large format film.
X-ray film gave me hope there were other good deals. 32 cents per shot is as cheap as 120 rolls at 6x6.

>>2742273
actually, it's a toad
>>2742403
All toads are frogs. "Toad" is just a folk taxonomy and has no scientific meaning. C'mon Vosh, you should know better.
>>2742404
Systematically toads are a family on their own. Order and class are the same for frogs and toads (Amphibia: Anura), but real frogs belong to the family Ranidae while toads are Bufonidae.
>>2742411
You can find frogs in Bufonidae (Harlequin Frog) and toads outside of it (Fire-bellied toads, for instance).
>>2742413
true, but in German fire-bellied toads are not called toads. Seems we are a little more specific. Never thought about the usage of 'toad' being less specific in English.

What the fuck is with all the large format cheap posts lately? Why are you even surprised at the cost of LF film?
>>2742416
Yeah, and you can find examples of the same species called either a frog or a toad in various literature. It really is just a folk thing.
>>2742434
didn't know that. In German we have different words for Bufonidae (Kröten) and Bombinatoridae (Unken), while all others are considered to be frogs (Frösche).
Thanks for making me aware of this.

My mistake. How do I identify them, so that I know next time I am photographing amphibians?
>>2742424
Nowhere did I indicate that I am surprised. I am simply looking for the best possible deal available.
>>2742386
Quebec. I know, I know, why would anyone live in Quebec if they have the choice?
