I'm thinking it's one of fuji's slide films.

Decrease the luminance while increasing the saturation on the blue, red and orange channels (ctrl+U in Photoshop). Also, on the blue channel, move the hue slider a bit to the cyan side. Increase overall contrast on curves.

Additionally, you could duplicate the photo layer, convert it to black and white while filtering the skies (ctrl+alt+B), then put the layer in "luminance" mode, over the original photo layer.

Yea, this should work, provia looks very similar to OP pic.
>>
>>2733577
It's definitely film because of the softness and dynamic range, but I am thinking of a color negative film like Ektar. Slide films tend to have less dynamic range.

looks to me like the body of water was already dark due to the thick clouds on the right and the sun coming in from the right, dragging shadows over the whole body of water

looking at alexis ren's tumblr he used a canon 7d and recently upgraded http://jayalvarrez.tumblr.com/search/camera/rss

>>2733577
>>2733584
>>2733590
i highly doubt he uses anything but digital

http://jayalvarrez.tumblr.com/search/film/rss

the last time he used film to describe a photo and not a video was in 2013, and they were christian cook's photos

>>2733590
like digital doesn't have dynamic range and you can't blur a jpeg, come on anon
>>
>>2733590

its def digital, pal.
>>
>>2733599
looks like the camera he updated to was a canon eos 60d

Especially slide film, which has the blackest of blacks.

nah, it's when you have very thin shadows with no detail and you boost the exposure.

>3 Stops Underexposed specifically

It's probably from scanning and adjusting brightness digitally to compensate for the underexposed film without preserving the black level, but that's still how we see some film through a digital medium.
>>
>>2733675

whats your point, faggot. are you implying op pic is film? retard.
>>
>>2733680
I actually proved it was taken on a digital Canon and not film. Back to your question,

>>2733615
>film never had stupid lifted blacks like that
I was pointing out situations in which, through a digital medium at least, it does have lifted blacks.

So what's your problem? Hangover from New Year's Eve?
>>
>>2733692

that vsco look is a meme, you cumfarmer. underexposed slide looks trash, underexposed color neg not much better. film never looked like op pic, grow up.

yeah my head hurts.

why would you want a golddigger gf? Ones like in OPs pic are only nice to you as long as you keep buying them stuff. The minute you stop, they will dump you like a hot turd.
